Delete your Snod account
Last updated: 9 October 2026
In the app (the quickest way)
- Open Snod on your phone or computer.
- Go to Settings → Data and privacy → Delete account.
- Type delete and confirm. You need a connection for this step.
Your account and everything in it are deleted from Snod straight away. Every other device you’re signed in on clears its copy as soon as it next connects.
Want a copy first? Export my data, in the same place, saves everything in one file.
If you can’t open Snod any more
Email hello@snod.app from the email address of your Snod account, with the subject Delete my account. If you sign in with Google, use your Google account’s email address.
Snod will reply to that address to make sure the request really comes from you. Once you answer, your account is deleted within 7 days and you’ll get an email to say it’s done.
What is deleted, and what’s kept
- Deleted: your account and everything in it: tasks, lists, events, notes, routines and what you logged, home screens, settings, feedback, and your sign-in records.
- Backups: everything leaves Snod’s backups within 30 days.
- Sync copies: older copies the sync service keeps so a device can catch up are cleared within a day.
- Kept for up to about three months: Scaleway’s email service keeps its record of the sign-in code emails it sent you (your address, when, and whether it arrived) until Snod’s next request to delete them, which Snod makes every three months. Ask at hello@snod.app if you’d like yours deleted sooner. Nothing else. If you emailed hello@snod.app, that conversation stays in the mailbox for 12 months after the last message.
