Snod terms of use

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Ruben Adair, who makes Snod. By using Snod you agree to them.

1. What Snod is

Snod is an app for your tasks, calendar, notes and routines, for Android and the web. It’s in early access: it is being tested, so features may change, and now and then something may not work as it should. Snod will become a subscription; its terms will be added here, and announced in the app, before anyone is asked to pay.

2. Your account

  • You need to be 18 or over to use Snod.
  • You sign in with a code sent to your email address, or with Google. Keep access to that email address or Google account: it’s how you get back in.
  • You’re responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Your things are yours

Everything you put in Snod stays yours. You give Snod permission to store it and to sync it between your devices, only so that Snod can do its job.

4. Fair use

Please don’t:

  • try to get into someone else’s account, or into Snod’s systems, or test their security without permission;
  • overload Snod or use scripts to create accounts or request codes;
  • use Snod for anything illegal.

Snod may suspend or close an account that does these things, with notice where that’s reasonable.

5. Provided as it is

  • Snod is provided “as is”, without promises that it will always be available or free of mistakes.
  • Keep your own copy of anything important: Export my data (Settings → Data and privacy) saves everything in one file whenever you like.
  • Snod may change or stop features. If Snod is ever closed, you’ll get at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your things.

6. Liability

Snod isn’t responsible for losses that come from the service being unavailable or from mistakes in it, as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for damage to your device or other digital content caused by a lack of reasonable care, or any other right the law gives you that can’t be taken away.

7. Ending

You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Data and privacy → Delete account). Snod can end your access if you break these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version goes here with a new date, and important changes are mentioned in the app.

9. Law

These terms are governed by Scots law. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep the protection of your local law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
